The motion

That the Parliament recognises the generosity and selfless actions of Riley, a pupil of St Mary’s Primary School in Bo’ness; understands that Riley is acutely aware of the hardships faced by those who experience homelessness within the community and often asks his mother for spare change to share with those who are less fortunate; further understands that a trip to Help the Homeless in Glasgow was arranged for Riley by his mum, who sought to further nurture his thoughtful nature; believes that Riley travelled to Glasgow with prepared packs of sandwiches and other snacks to provide to the homeless, all of which he prepared at home; acknowledges that, due to his generosity and thoughtfulness towards others, Riley has been recognised with a special award from his primary school and will soon share his experiences at an upcoming school assembly; congratulates Riley on his kind spirit and thoughtfulness towards others in the community who are less fortunate than him, and wishes him all the best in the future.
