The motion

That the Parliament supports that free period products will be available in 120 public places across North Lanarkshire, including Airdrie, Coatbridge, Cumbernauld, Motherwell, Shotts and Wishaw; notes the work that North Lanarkshire Council has undertaken with public sector partners and community organisations to make these products available for free; further notes that an interactive online map will be made available to direct people to locations of where the products will be available, as well as a campaign to help end the stigma around periods being a taboo topic; recognises that these products will be available to pick up in schools, colleges, health centres, libraries, community centres and leisure centres, and further recognises that these will also be provided through local food banks that are run by Lanarkshire Health and Food Partnership.
