Desiree’s Salon, Kirkintilloch, Wins Two Prestigious Industry Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Desiree’s of Kirkintilloch on winning two prestigious awards at the Scottish Beauty Industry Awards 2023, at the event that was held to celebrate talent and innovation in the beauty sector on 15 October in Glasgow; notes that the salon won the 5 Star Beauty Salon Overall and Nail Team of the Year awards; understands that the salon owner, Desiree Carrigan, has been trading for over 12 years and has a team of five professionals working alongside her, with an additional young apprentice; appreciates that the awards evening, attended by industry leaders, influencers and beauty enthusiasts, was a resounding success and showcased Scotland’s dedication to setting high standards in the beauty industry, and wishes the business every success for the future.
