Befriend a Child Giving Tree Appeal

The motion

That the Parliament recognises that Befriend a Child in Aberdeen has launched its annual Giving Tree Appeal, and is asking people, communities and businesses across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire to come together to ensure that every child gets to open a Christmas present in 2023; understands that participants are being asked to either purchase a gift for a local young person or donate money towards experiences and outings for local children in the year ahead; congratulates Ocean Installer on already donating to the appeal to ensure that all expenses are covered; calls on businesses and organisations that think that they can help to become a Giving Tree partner to get in touch at [email protected], and wishes Befriend a Child well with its endeavours.
