Project SEARCH Funding
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the funding awarded to Project SEARCH by Aberdeenshire Council and Shell UK; notes that Project SEARCH, which is based at the University of Aberdeen, helps local people with learning disabilities and/or autism through a combination of real-life work experience, training in employability, and independent-living skills support; understands that the funding will support Project SEARCH through the 2023-24 financial year, and commends Project SEARCH on its important work across North East Scotland.
