East Lothian Council Library Services Award Nominations

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates East Lothian Council Library Services on its nomination for the SLIC Project Excellence category and the Library Service Excellence Award in the 2023 Scottish Library and Information Council Awards; understands that it is the only library service to be nominated in both categories; celebrates the hard work done by staff and volunteers in achieving this; recognises its Community Health and Wellbeing Hubs project that gained it its nomination in the Project Excellence Category, highlighting what it sees as the important role that libraries play in the health and wellbeing of their wider communities, and celebrates its work done on the theme of "At the Heart of our Communities", which led to its nomination in the Library Service Excellence category.
