NLC Provost Award Success for Isobel Kelly

That the Parliament congratulates Gartcosh resident, Isobel Kelly, on receiving the prestigious North Lanarkshire Council’s Provost Community Volunteer Award 2023; understands that award recipients are determined by local people nominating individuals or groups who have committed to improve the lives of others; further understands that Isobel is an advocate for the improvement of not only her hometown of Gartcosh, but also of the surrounding villages; notes that she is involved in a range of local groups, which include Gartcosh Tenants and Residents Association and the Northern Corridor Community Board, which facilitates the engagement in all aspects of the community, from organising local events to providing guidance on local housing, health, education and many other issues, and thanks Isobel for her significant contribution to her local communities.
