Award Winning Port of Aberdeen
The motion
That the Parliament commends the Port of Aberdeen on winning the Sustainability Award at the 2023 British Ports Association Conference; recognises that the judges were impressed by the Port of Aberdeen’s commitment to reducing emissions, which it believes is guided by an industry-leading net zero strategy; notes that the Port of Aberdeen has a commitment to become the UK’s first net zero port by 2040, and congratulates everyone at Port of Aberdeen whose work has been recognised with this award.
