The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen Science Centre on retaining its five-star status under VisitScotland's Quality Assurance (QA) Scheme for the second year in a row; understands that the QA Scheme is widely recognised as a benchmark for exceptional quality within the tourism industry; notes that the centre is one of only two attractions in the city to hold the five-star award; commends Aberdeen Science Centre for bringing science to life for people of all ages across 60 interactive exhibits, covering energy, space and life sciences; congratulates the centre's on-site café, run by Grub Fresh Food, on being awarded VisitScotland's Taste Our Best accreditation, which celebrates businesses serving quality food and drink using fresh and seasonal local produce, and praises what it sees as the dedication of all the staff in making sure that each trip to the centre is memorable for all visitors.
