Artistic Gymnastics Duo from West Lothian's Medal Success at the Artistic Disability British Championships

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates West Lothian Artistic Gymnastics duo, Megan Docherty and Sophie Barnett, on scooping a remarkable eight medals at the Artistic Disability British Championships in Lilleshall; understands that Megan, aged 18, of Bathgate and Sophie, aged 13, of West Calder were in terrific form; recognises that Megan was competing in the Open Senior events, and won silver in the All Around and Vault, as well as a trio of bronzes for Bars, Beams and Floor; recognises that her teammate, Sophie, was competing in the Open Junior events and won silver in the All Around and Vault and a bronze in the Bars; acknowledges the hours of training put in by both girls; commends their tremendous work ethic, and wishes West Lothian Artistic Gymnastics and the team continued success.
