Popular Broomhouse Minister Moves On After 10 Years’ Service

The motion

That the Parliament thanks Rev Michael Mair for his 10 years of service as a minister at St David's Broomhouse Parish Church, Edinburgh; notes that Rev Mair has been the Minister at St David's Church since January 2014, and quickly became a very much appreciated and integral member of the community, encouraging collaborative working with local partnerships such as SPACE Broomhouse, Community One Stop Shop and BIG Project, as well as his contribution to the success of the annual Broomhouse Street Party; recognises that throughout his 10 years as the local Minister, Rev Mair has carried out a wide range of work across the local area and has stated that being involved in the Broomhouse community has been a “real pleasure”, and wishes Rev Mair and his family well in the next chapter of their lives.
