Dyce Carriers Celebrates 50 Years on the Road
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Dyce Carriers on celebrating 50 years of business in 2023; understands that the company was first established in 1973 by Dave and Jean Moir, as a small family-run business in Aberdeen, with its very first vehicle consisting of a Morris Minor van; further understands that since then, Dyce Carriers has continued to grow, with the company now becoming a national name, whilst operating four strategic bases across the UK in Aberdeen, Dalgety Bay, Grangemouth and Poole, with the fleet regularly undertaking trips to Ireland, as well as continental Europe, whilst also maintaining a daily trunk route linking the north of Scotland to the south of England; understands that the company has launched a merchandise store to mark the golden anniversary, in light of a number of requests from followers of the company who wished to purchased branded products; commends everyone at Dyce Carriers for their continued hard work and efforts, and wishes them all the best for the future.
