Auchtertool Primary School Parent Council Receives Asda Foundation grant

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Auchtertool Primary School Parent Council on receiving a £500 grant from the Asda Foundation; understands that the main aim of Auchtertool Primary School Parent Council is to help parents and carers to become actively engaged and involved in their children's learning and the life of the school, by ensuring that it provides a voice for parents and represent their views effectively to the school; notes that one of the ways that Asda supports the local community around its stores is through the Asda Foundation, which is a charitable company that has invested more than £800,000 in community projects and good causes in Scotland that, it believes, have made a real difference to the wider community, and wishes Auchtertool Primary School Parent Council all the best for the future and good luck in any endeavours that it embarks upon.
