The Yard Fife Receives Asda Foundation Grant
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Scotland Yard Adventure Centre Fife on receiving a £780 grant from the Asda Foundation; understands that The Yard Fife, which is based in Kirkcaldy, creates beautiful havens for play for disabled children, alongside opportunities for fun, friendship and community building; understands that The Yard Fife is a Scottish charity supporting disabled children and young people aged 0-25 through adventure play, and that, since 1986, it has been offering creative and inclusive play experiences in a well-supported environment, alongside wraparound support for the whole family; notes that Asda supports the local community through the Asda Foundation, which is a charitable company that has invested more than £800,000 in community projects and good causes in Scotland that, it believes, have made a real difference to the wider community, and wishes The Yard Fife all the best for the future and good luck in any endeavours that it embarks upon.
