Commending Buckie Ladies FC for its Sustainable Club Award Nomination

The motion

That the Parliament commends Buckie Ladies FC for its well-deserved nomination in the category of Most Sustainable Club at the upcoming Scottish Women’s Football (SWF) Awards, scheduled to take place on 25 November 2023 at Hampden Park; believes that this nomination is a testament to the club's diligent efforts in promoting football across various age groups, alongside its remarkable success on the football field, including clinching two consecutive Highlands and Islands league titles and league cup titles; acknowledges the outstanding individual nominations, with Buckie Ladies FC manager, Laura Duncan, being nominated for Volunteer of the Year, and the team's goalkeeper, Sophia Golebiewski, being nominated for Highlands and Islands Player of the Year, and warmly congratulates Buckie Ladies FC on these remarkable achievements.
