Remembering the Chair of Helensburgh Community Council, Norman Muir

The motion

That the Parliament pays tribute to Norman Muir, following his sudden passing at the age of 84; recognises that he served as convener of Helensburgh Community Council over the past eight years, representing the community and working tirelessly with a range of groups and individuals to improve the town; notes that he had incredible passion for the area, and was keen to ensure that the voices of all were heard and that their opinions were taken into account when making decisions; thanks him for his unstinting leadership of the community council, and sends heartfelt condolences to his family, as his wise counsel will be missed.
