Motherwell FC Women Receives £10k Funding from the Well Society

The motion

That the Parliament understands that the Well Society, which represents the fan-ownership model and majority shareholders of Motherwell FC, has provided a £10,000 funding boost to Motherwell FC Women; recognises that the cash injection aims to provide access to top-quality coaching and support staff for the players, from academy level through to the first team; understands that Motherwell FC Girls’ Academy enjoys elite level status with the Scottish FA’s National Academy Programme Club, which governs the development of the game for those aged between 14 and 18, and wishes the team all the very best for the rest of the season.
