Liam Kelly Becomes First Motherwell FC Goalkeeper to Play for Scotland in Almost 90 Years
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Motherwell FC goalkeeper and captain, Liam Kelly, on claiming his long-awaited first cap for Scotland in a friendly against France; notes that Liam made history after becoming the first Motherwell goalkeeper to play for the national side since Allan McClory in November 1934; considers that this is an excellent achievement for Liam, and wishes both Motherwell and Scotland football teams all the best for their upcoming games.
