Dumbarton Asda Donates £1,000 to Local Projects

The motion

That the Parliament recognises that Asda Dumbarton has given £1,000 to two local projects through its Asda Foundation Green Token Giving funding; notes that customers get the chance to vote for the projects that matter most to them through the scheme; understands that Gareloch Riding for the Disabled Association, which is dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities throughout Helensburgh, Cardross, Dumbarton, Clydebank and the Vale of Leven with the provision of horse riding and carriage driving, was awarded £500, with Family Mediation Argyll and Bute receiving £500 to provide mediation services to people across the local authority area, including in Helensburgh and Lomond, and thanks the groups for their ongoing work in the area, and the Asda Foundation for investing in local communities.
