Largs-based Deli il Cardo Named Best in Scotland

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Deli il Cardo, in Largs, on being crowned Best Deli in Scotland at the Scottish Takeaway Awards 2023, during a ceremony at the Marriott Hotel in Glasgow on 23 October; understands that Deli il Cardo is run by Siggi and Karen Jungnitz, who took over the eatery several years ago and have paid tribute to their staff and customers after their triumph; recognises that the Main Street-based eatery won the top prize due to serving a range of great quality Italian food products, such as filled panini, ciabattas and homemade soup, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, and wishes Mr and Mrs Jungnitz and everyone at Deli il Cardo every success in their future endeavours.
