Bearsden Asda Foundation Grant for Milngavie and Bearsden Men's Shed

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the work of Milngavie and Bearsden Men's Shed, which has received a grant of £1,200 from the Asda foundation; acknowledges that the Asda Foundation provides a range of charitable grants to good causes across Scotland; notes that the Milngavie and Bearsden Men's Shed provides a meeting place for men for "healthy and determined" experiences; considers that, as with many men's shed projects across Scotland, Milngavie and Bearsden Men's Shed provides an important source of mental health support for many individuals in the local community, and wishes the Men’s Shed every success in continuing its work within the local community.
