Congratulations to Aberdeen Multicultural Centre
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen Multicultural Centre on receiving a grant of £10,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that this grant will be used to help fund the annual Mela event in Aberdeen, which invites people to see performances from diverse cultures across the city; notes that this has become a major calendar event in Aberdeen that celebrates multiculturalism, with thousands of people enjoying the food, music, dance, stalls and children's activities provided, and wishes Aberdeen Multicultural Centre all the best with its future endeavours.
