Fife Man Launches Lego Appeal to Bring Joy to Less Fortunate Families

Lodged by David Torrance (Scottish National Party) Standard Motion 4 supporters

The motion

That the Parliament applauds Fifer, Jamie Anderson, who is a pharmacy technician at Kirkcaldy’s Victoria Hospital, after he has launched a Lego appeal to bring joy to less fortunate families; understands that Jamie is a keen collector of Lego sets, and that, after receiving a number of free sets with his orders, he decided to share the joy he gets from them with those less fortunate; further understands that Jamie kicked off the collection earlier in 2023 and that it has now grown to 113 sets; believes that he had originally looked at distributing them through local schools in the local area, before pivoting to charities; commends Jamie for showing amazing community spirit, and wishes him all the very best for the future and any other good deeds he undertakes.
