Forth Valley College Wins Approved Trainer of the Year Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Forth Valley College on winning the Approved Trainer of the Year award at the 11th Engineering Construction Industry and Development Awards; understands that the college won the award as a result of successful training initiatives, including the Oil and Gas Technical Apprenticeship programme, which has delivered an outstanding 100% transition rate into employment for participants of the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) scholarship programme over the last 12 years; welcomes what is sees as the important and innovative work that is being undertaken at Forth Valley College to train and develop the next generation of Scotland’s workforce through its programmes; congratulates Forth Valley College on its award, and wishes the staff at Forth Valley College success in their future delivery of such initiatives.
