Vanilla Ink CIC Runs First Ever British Sign Language Jewellery Making Class

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates Scotland’s biggest jewellery school, Vanilla Ink CIC, for running the first ever British Sign Language (BSL) jewellery making class; understands that the classes are aimed at the local deaf community and beyond, and provide an opportunity for all to take part in creative skills; believes that disability should not be a barrier to learning and that jewellery making is for all; thanks staff at Vanilla Ink CIC for their initiative and contributions to the Scottish creative industry, and wishes them all the best for the future.
