Kilmarnock's Taylor Deay Nominated in the 2023 ScotRail in the Community Awards
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that Taylor Deay, of Kilmarnock, has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Contribution to Community Rail in the 2023 ScotRail in the Community Awards; understands that more than 1,000 people across the country volunteer on Scotland’s railway and that the awards seek to recognise their contribution to their local communities in a variety of different activities and projects; notes that Taylor has volunteered with Kilmarnock station community village for seven years as a barista in Station Gamers on platform one; commends Taylor on the contribution to the Kilmarnock community that has led to his nomination, and wishes him all the best in the future.
