Banffshire Field Club

The motion

That the Parliament commends the admirable work of the Banffshire Field Club, which has been dedicated to promoting the study of the history, antiquities, natural history and cultural heritage of the County of Banffshire since 1880; understands that the Field Club recently organised a highly successful one-day conference in Cullen, which sold out and significantly contributed to raising awareness of the area's rich history and culture, and recognises what it sees as the invaluable work carried out by organisations like the Banffshire Field Club in sharing Scotland's unique history and heritage with the world.
