15 Years of Future Choices

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the 15th anniversary of the Aberdeen-based charity, Future Choices; understands that Future Choices is a voluntary-led local charity that supports some of the most vulnerable adults with social inclusion and improving mental health and wellbeing; notes that Future Choices uses two buses to transport vulnerable adults to Inchgarth Community Centre, based in Garthdee, for activities and social events; recognises that Future Choices also gives opportunities for young people to learn important life skills through the Saltire Awards scheme; commends the hard work of Future Choices’ staff and volunteers for standing up for vulnerable people across all levels of government; congratulates the charity on making a difference to so many lives over the last 15 years, and passes on its best wishes for future success.
