Plaudits to Soroptomist International Aberdeen and the Businesses of Rosemount

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the work of Soroptimist International Aberdeen, which is coordinating a window display competition in Rosemount, Aberdeen, as part of the 2023 United Nations 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign, which begins on 25 November; understands that a number of shops and businesses in Rosemount will take part in the event; recognises that the competition winner will be awarded £200 to be given to a charity of its choice, and applauds Soroptomist International Aberdeen and the Rosemount businesses for their efforts in supporting the challenge of ending violence against women and girls.
