SISU Group Receives Grant from National Lottery Community Fund
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the National Lottery Community Fund’s announcement of a £10,000 grant to SISU Group, in the Glasgow Anniesland constituency area; understands that the group will use the funds to deliver a range of support to advance the physical and mental health of women and girls who are experiencing, have experienced, or are at risk of, violence and abuse; recognises that the group assists in the prevention or relief of poverty among women and girls by providing personal and professional development opportunities designed to enable young women to lead fulfilled lives, free from financial hardship, and congratulates the group on assisting in the advancement of education opportunities for young women by enhancing self-esteem, training and skills development, and on creating enabling pathways to learning and self-sufficiency.
