Branchton Community Centre

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Branchton Community Centre on receiving £42,680 from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that the Greenock-based community hub will use this funding to deliver a programme of activities that will support its local community, and a monthly information day for local services to promote their work; believes that community centres are valuable to their areas as they provide a space for people to socialise, while also responding to the needs of nearby residents; believes that Branchton Community Centre is providing a range of services through which to engage with people of all ages in the community, and wishes it all the best as it continues to be at the heart of the Branchton area.
