Kraken Chippy Wins at Scottish Fish and Chips Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Kraken Chippy, in Cambuslang, on its success at the 2023 Scottish Fish and Chips Awards; understands that the Kraken Chippy won Best Delivery Service and Best Dessert Offering, and was recognised as being highly recommended in the Best Fish Supper – West category; considers that its wins are a brilliant achievement, in light of the level and quality of the competition; notes that, since opening in 2019, the Kraken Chippy has become a firm favourite of Cambuslang and Rutherglen residents, and pays tribute to all of its staff, from those working on the counter to its delivery drivers, whose efforts, it believes, have significantly contributed to its ongoing successes.
