Milngavie Train Station Hosts Low Vision Rehabilitation Students
The motion
That the Parliament recognises ScotRail’s assistance in hosting students from Glasgow Caledonian University’s Graduate Diploma in Low Vision Rehabilitation course at Milngavie train station; understands that the students utilised a stationary train in order to experience guiding long cane users on and off the platform; further understands that participants in this training course were able to learn about route planning to the train station, station services and ultimately will be able to assist their future clients with independent living and travel; commends ScotRail’s initiative of hosting training sessions such as this, and hopes that more students will be able to access this training course across Scotland.
