Aberdeenshire West Projects Receive Just Transition Funding

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Aboyne and District Men’s Shed, Books Abroad, Deeside Bike Collective, Huntly Sports Trust, Play for All and SensationALL on their successful funding applications for a combined total of £188,174.31; understands that the funds will be used by these organisations to make capital improvements to improve accessibility and the energy efficiency of their buildings and activities, as part of the transition to net zero; congratulates these organisations on what it sees as the remarkable work that they do to help those in need in their communities, and further congratulates their volunteers, without whom, it believes, these organisations would be unable carry out their vital work.
