Lovell House Builders' Annual Fundraiser
The motion
That the Parliament commends Motherwell-based house builder, Lovell, and particularly Lee-Ann Reynolds, on their outstanding fundraiser for the John Hartson Foundation, which supports men with testicular cancer; understands that Lee-Ann raised almost £7,000 after organising a golf day, which included a charity auction, sponsorship from EMA, Advance Construction, Tough Scotland, and Avoca Wealth Management; further understands that approximately 170 men in Scotland are diagnosed with testicular cancer each year, and that it is one of the most common cancers in men between the age of 18 and 30; understands that the money raised will be used to help raise awareness about testicular cancer, and also to support many other charities, such as the Beatson Cancer Charity and Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity; applauds Lovell and Lee-Ann for their dedication and commitment to the past five years of fundraising, and wishes them all the best for the future.
