Secretary Stands Down after 40 Years with Garelochhead Seniors Club
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges the 40 years of service that Evelyn Smith has given to Garelochhead Seniors Club, having taken on the role on a temporary basis when she was 28 years old; notes that she has organised a number of trips to places such as Glasgow and Largs, as well as special events such as Christmas dinners, spring teas and quizzes for members; recognises that she has also sourced vital funding for the group to continue, and thanks Evelyn for her service and dedication to the organisation.
