The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Martin Plant Hire on its 50th anniversary; understands that, in 1974, James Martin established his first independent family-owned and -run tool hire business, which is now headed by James's son, Andrew, and proudly consists of seven depots across Scotland, including in Motherwell; further understands that Martin Plant Hire not only hires out tools, but has developed a dedicated training division based in Motherwell, operating under the prestigious International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and Prefabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers' Association (PASMA) banners; notes that health and safety are paramount to the company, which has led to the business developing a comprehensive range of interactive training course for its staff and customers; wishes everyone at Martin Plant Hire all the best, and applauds them for their dedication to providing health and safety training at all levels across the community.
