Erin MacKinnon Receives SFRS Commendation for Stem Cell Donation

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Erin MacKinnon of Eriskay on being awarded a Certificate of Commendation by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) for donating stem cells to save a life; notes that Erin was recruited by a SFRS charity partnership to sign up to the Anthony Nolan stem cell register, which pairs donors with cancer patients in need of a transplant; further notes that she was part of a group of 14 people recognised for their donations, and praises the success of the charity partnership between SFRS and the Anthony Nolan register in recruiting over 19,000 potential donors.
