Scallops Tale of Bearsden wins 2024 Blue Ribbon Good Food Award.

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Scallops Tale, in Bearsden, on winning the 2024 Blue Ribbon Good Food Award for its fish and chips; notes that the business has won the award for the second year in a row; appreciates that votes and nominations are taken to allow the Good Food Award judges to decide which eateries will be honoured each year; understands that the business opened in 2022, employs local staff, and uses as much Scottish produce as possible; believes that the award appreciates the hard-working team, which has strived for excellence and its commitment to serving excellent food, and is known for its quality of food, service and value; understands that the prestigious Blue Ribbon has been awarded to the restaurant due to its high customer ratings and public votes, and wishes the management and team at the restaurant every success for the future.
