NHS Western Isles Macmillan Team Wins Macmillan Cancer Support Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the NHS Western Isles Macmillan team on being named as the winner of Macmillan Cancer Support’s Whatever it Takes Award for extraordinary effort, adaptivity, innovation and compassion; notes that the award was presented at the Macmillan Professionals Excellence Awards, held on 9 November 2023, to recognise the outstanding contribution that Macmillan professionals across the UK make to cancer services; recognises what it sees is the vital service that the team provides to the islands’ populations, especially in the post-COVID-19 pandemic environment, and wishes the team all the best for the future.
