Helensburgh Fashion Show Raises £2,800 for RNLI

The motion

That the Parliament applauds Lesley Quirk for organising a fashion show at Helensburgh Sailing Club, which raised £2,800 for the charity; understands that the sell-out event was held for the first time in several years and that many local shops and businesses supported the event with some fantastic raffle prizes; notes that many sponsors assisted with hair, make up, plants, wine, food and staging; understands that the Helensburgh lifeboat has a volunteer crew of 18, including seven helms, who were called out a total of 58 times in 2023, which is double the number of call-outs compared with 2022, and wishes the organisers and the charity every success for the future.
