Inverness City Centre Business Awards 2023

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the 37 winners of the Inverness City Centre Business Awards 2023; notes that, at the beginning of November, Inverness City Centre Business Improvement District (BID) held its annual awards ceremony, championing the best of Inverness’s local city centre businesses, with over 200 people in attendance at the ceremony, which was hosted at the Drumossie Hotel in Inverness by local radio duo, Dan and Grace; understands that the 2023 nominations, which were submitted by the public, represent double the number of those received in 2022, and that 37 awards were given to a range of businesses, including clothing stores, restaurants, hair salons and businesses from the hospitality and tourism sector; commends Inverness BID for what it sees as the vital role that it plays in representing the interests of the businesses within the district and aiming to increase local economic activity, and wishes the awarded and nominated businesses every success for the future.
