Cardross Community Organic Garden Raises £500 for Local Train Station Revamp

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Cardross Community Organic Garden on hosting its first open day to raise funds to improve the environment surrounding Cardross train station; notes that the volunteer workforce held plant sales to raise the much-needed funds; understands that the 20-strong group, which is working under the Adopt a Station scheme via ScotRail, has improved the natural environment by growing both flowers and natural produce around the station, and believes that the local group should be commended in its determination to improve the beauty of the local area.
