Teenage Cancer Trust Christmas Card Design Triumph for Bo’ness’s Olivia Thom
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Olivia Thom, of Bo’ness, on having her creative Christmas card design selected as competition winner in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust; understands that young people and staff members of the Teenage Cancer Trust were invited to submit designs for a festive Christmas card to be sold in stores, with proceeds in aid of the fantastic cause; understands that the partnership between Aldi and the Teenage Cancer Trust began in 2017 and, since then, has raised over £9 million to support a variety of fundraisers and initiatives; notes that Olivia’s design features the classic motifs of Christmas with trees and baubles, and that the judges selected Olivia's design as the winner to be sold in Aldi stores to raise vital funds; congratulates Olivia on her design success in the competition to support a fantastic cause, and wishes her the best in her future endeavours.
