Grangemouth Saturday Lunch Club Celebrates Anniversary
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates all those involved in the Grangemouth Saturday Lunch Club, as it celebrates its one-year anniversary; understands that Clare Murray started the club to help those in the local community struggling with the cost of living crisis and social isolation, as a safe space to interact and give support to one another; further understands that the club also provides young people with opportunities to volunteer in their community, which, it understands, has resulted in some being awarded the Ascent Level Saltire Award; recognises what it sees as the positive impact of bringing communities together through initiatives like the Grangemouth Saturday Lunch Club, and wishes everyone involved all the best in the future.
