Kilwinning Gym Fundraiser for Charity

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Mission: FIT on raising over £7,000 for the charity Megan’s Space; understands that the gym held a 24-hour "burpee-athon", which was completed over 48 half-hour sessions and with at least one person taking part at any one time; acknowledges that the charity, Megan’s Space, was created by Jenny and Rob Copeland from Irvine after their daughter, Megan, took her own life, with the aim of stopping another child from doing the same thing; appreciates the efforts of all who took part, and wishes the team at Mission: FIT every success in the future.
