Walk in the Park Killin Wins Health Walk Group of the Year 2023

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Walk in the Park Killin on winning Health Walk Group of the Year 2023 at the Paths for All Awards; understands that the weekly walk is intended to promote health and wellbeing and provide opportunities for people to explore the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park; notes that these walks are run by dedicated volunteers; understands that the Killin walk in the park sees eight volunteers and 25 participants joining weekly, and commends Killin Walk in the Park for being recognised nationally for its efforts to engage with local residents and ensure accessibility.
