Aberdeen Donside Resident Wins Gold at Swimming Championships

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates June Falconer, who recently won gold at the Masters Scottish National Swimming Championships; understands that June won the 1,500m race for the 55 to 59 age group; notes that the Masters swimming community includes people from 16 to 100 years old, with members who swim for fun, recreationally, as well as those who prefer to swim competitively, and that it is inclusive of all abilities and motivations; applauds June for her continued hard work and efforts to gain the gold medal, and wishes her all the best for the future.
