Edinburgh College Head of School, Sam Blyth, Awarded Technology Champion in Education

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Edinburgh College Computing Head of School, Sam Blyth, on being named Technology Champion in Education at the Scotland Women in Technology Awards 2023; recognises Sam's efforts in establishing a number of initiatives to encourage women and girls to consider a career in tech, and acknowledges what it sees as her immense contribution towards addressing a gender imbalance in tech industries, as well as advocating for those from other underrepresented groups to be given equal opportunities and driving positive change within the field.
