Jacqueline Coyle Recognised for Outstanding Contribution to Community Health and Wellbeing
The motion
That the Parliament applauds Jacqueline Coyle, a Macmillan Cancer support advisor in Inverclyde, on being recognised for her outstanding contribution to community health and wellbeing at Energy Action Scotland’s annual conference; notes that Jacqueline was awarded this prize for her what it sees as her crucial work helping recovering patients keep their fuel bills down; understands that she has helped to secure in excess of £10 million in benefits for patients over the years; further understands that Jacqueline has been closely involved in delivering a number of projects funded by Scottish Power and Good Energy to provide new energy-efficient white goods; appreciates that Energy Action Scotland uses its awards to recognise individuals who have made a significant impact in combating fuel poverty; thanks Jacqueline for her commitment to helping people affected by cancer, and believes that Macmillan Cancer advisors make a huge difference to people in Inverclyde and across Scotland.
